If you are heading to Disney soon, you will want to bring a portable charger with you. So much can be done on your phone at Disney World, and you don’t want to find yourself with a dead phone and no easy way to charge it.

There are plugs throughout Disney World, but then you are tethered to that spot until your phone is charged. With a portable charger, you can plug in and go all day long. Which portable charger should you get? We put three portable chargers to the test, and we are telling you all about them!

You can grab all these chargers with free shipping from Amazon with an Amazon Prime membership! Don’t have Amazon Prime? You can grab a free trial right here:
Now, let’s look at these chargers and how they stack up when we put them to the test! The first charger we tried out was the INIU Charger.

We were super impressed with the INIU portable charger. It is inexpensive, yet worked during our day in the park. The charger was so slim and lightweight, but it charged our phone quickly and held its charge really well.

It is a wired charger and the paw print on the front lights up blue to show you how much charge is left. We were surprised that the charger didn’t seem to get hot while we were using it.

We did find ourselves having to push the power button on the side throughout the day to make sure it was still charging our phone, but overall we were really impressed with the INIU charger.
Next up, we tested the Anker Portable Charger.

This one is slightly more expensive than the INIU charger, but it is a magnetic charger that holds onto your phone and charges it wirelessly. It has lights on the bottom that indicate how much charge is left.

While we really like the idea behind this charger, the magnetic grip wasn’t super firm so the charger would slide around pretty easily. As well, the charger got a bit hot and even hotter if you tried to use your phone while using it.

This one would work best if you were able to charge it while not using your phone. We loved the fact that this charger didn’t have any cords you had to mess with, and it was super slim and lightweight.

We think this charger could be a lifesaver if you have gotten water in your charging port, or are out in the rain and are worried about frying your phone’s charging port.
Finally, we also tested out the FuelRod.

A lot of our reporters use FuelRods religiously in the parks for a couple of reasons. The main reason is that you can swap them out for free at any of the Disney World parks or hotels. There are lots of FuelRod stations and getting a fully charged FuelRod is super easy.

There are also FuelRod swap stations all across the United States, but you will have to pay a small fee at most other stations to get a new FuelRod. We also love the size of the charger. It is small and easy to put a few in your park bag.

The FuelRod is also wired, so you will have to connect it to your phone and mess with the cord. We have definitely gotten a few pictures with our FuelRod in the shot. However, knowing that we can always swap it out for a fully charged FuelRod is the main reason why we love our FuelRods.
So, which charger is the best purchase? It all depends. The INIU charger is slim, the charge lasts a long time, and it is inexpensive. We love that the Anker charger is magnetic and wirelessly charges your phone, but it is a bit more expensive than the INIU. FuelRods are easy to swap out for a fully charged one so you aren’t caught without a charge (if you are somewhere other than Disney, you will need to pay a small fee, though). The price for a FuelRod is in the middle of the other two chargers.
