5 CHANGES Happening in November in Disney World

We blinked, and suddenly, we were less than one month away from November. What happened?! How is 2024 almost over already? Is anyone else totally confused about where the time went?

Magic Kingdom

Well, like it or not, November is fast approaching, and that means some new Disney World CHANGES are on the horizon. If you’re planning a trip to Disney World this November, here are all the biggest CHANGES and events happening throughout the month!

Typhoon Lagoon is CLOSING

When one room closes, another one opens — literally! This November, Typhoon Lagoon stops showing hours on the Disney website, meaning it will more than likely close on that date. The good news is that on that same day, Blizzard Beach begins showing operating hours.

This seasonal water park closure happens each year. Disney’s two water parks take turns closing for refurbishment, and now, it’s time for Blizzard Beach to reopen for the season!

Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving Day is November 28th. If you’re planning to be in Disney World for the holiday, look out for increased crowds and higher Lightning Lane Multi Pass Prices.

Crowds are here!!

In the past, we’ve seen Magic Kingdom get pretty crowded around the holidays. Disney hasn’t released the prices for its skip-the-line service this November yet, but we’ll be sure to update you when prices drop.
