EPCOT‘s World Showcase is full of ways to immerse yourself in the different countries.

We’re personally big fans of eating and drinking around the world, but you can also learn a lot about the different countries by checking out the souvenirs that are available for purchase. We headed over to the Mexico Pavilion, one of our favorites, to see what incredible souvenirs we could find!
We’d like to thank our incredible guide, Guillermo from Cancun, who walked us through the most traditional items in the pavilion! And the best part? All of these items can be shipped back home for you with a MAXIMUM shipping price of $15!

He informed us that the sugar skull aesthetic came from actual skulls made out of sugar that are colorfully decorated. Some of that aesthetic is reflected in the handmade skulls for sale in the pavilion — like these Extra Large Skulls for $99.95 each! These skulls are made in the Mexican state of Guerrero.

Large Skulls are also available for $34 (pictured below), but they also have Medium Skulls for $21.95, Small Skulls for $14.95, and Tiny Skulls for $8.95. They’re all incredibly unique! Did you know “Calaverq de Azucar Dia de Muertos” is how you say Sugar Skull in Spanish?

Have you ever noticed the Fancy Woman in the Mexico Pavilion and wonder how it all got started? Well, she was created to mock the rich and illustrate that at the end of the day, everyone dies and money means nothing.

You can grab a Large Fancy Woman for $54.99 or a Small Fancy Woman for $19.99.

If you’re a big hat fan, you can also pick up a stunning Guanajuato Hat, which is hand painted, for $34.99.

Looking for more glasses in your cupboard that are like no other? This beautiful style of glass was created by glass artists in Puebla, who then moved to Mexico City and finally settled in Jalisco where they are made now (which is also the birthplace of Mariachi!). These glasses range in prices and are all extremely unique.

These Bags are made in Chiapas and are very typical and traditional. They look similar to ones made in Guatemala because the town is close to the border. You’ll find these for $34.99 because they are made with imitation suede, where typically this style of bag would be made out of real suede and be much more expensive.

And we were so thrilled to hear the story behind the Oaxacan Wood Carvings. These are handmade from Copal wood harvested from the hills around the Oaxacan Valley in Southern Mexico. Machetes and pocketknives are used to create these unique carvings, and then hand sand and paint each one.

These range from $18 for a tiny Seahorse…

…to $5,000 for the large Flamingo!

We got to see Marco, who was the fantastic artist working in the pavilion today. It’s incredible to be able to watch these artists work right in front of your eyes in DISNEY WORLD!

You’ll also find some lovely Dioramas that are celebrating different occupations people all around the world have! We loved the one depicting playing in a band…

…and the individuals practicing Zumba! These are $19.99 each.

And if someone is looking for a beautiful new doll to have on display, you can pick up a Lele Doll. These are handmade in Querétaro, Mexico and the dresses are colorful to reminisce the style that is worn by the Mazahuas women. “Lele” means baby in Otami (the language of the Mazahuas), and these dolls are even the icon of the state of Querétaro!

If you’re looking for something a little more familiar to those who haven’t traveled the world, you can also pick up some classic “Abuelo” and “Abuela” Disney Mugs in the pavilion as well.

These are classic, yes, but it’s a great way to bridge the gap between generations.

We can’t thank Guillermo enough for taking us on this fantastic tour — if you see him in the Mexico Pavilion, be sure to tell him hello! We’re always here to bring you the latest Disney news, so stay tuned to AllEars!

I purchased a unique silver ring from a stall outside the pavilion. They carve any name you want to put on there and creates a lovely moment. I should advise that you size your finger at normal room temperature as I made the m8stake of getting the measurements done in the midday heat when my finger swelled. Almost lost the ring when my finger shrunk back down to normal.
