Disney Just Revealed a SECRET SNACK COLLABORATION That’s Existed Since 2018

There are tons of different treats you can try at Disney World. Sometimes, it can be hard to decide what you should try.

We try all the newest snacks to tell you what’s worth your money, but one of the most basic and iconic Disney World snacks is popcorn. There’s the regular buttery popcorn you can find at snack stands, but there’s also gourmet popcorn you can find at spots like the Main Street Confectionery. Ever wonder where that popcorn comes from?

Popcorn Junkie is a Florida family-owned business run by Neal and Minetta Crosier. Their popcorn storefront soared to new heights after becoming the gourmet popcorn supplier of Disney World in 2018. Yep, Disney’s been using a gourmet popcorn company for YEARS — and you probably didn’t even know it.

Popcorn Junkie is available all across Disney parks and resorts — from Main Street to Galaxy’s Edge, and they’re even expanding to Disney Cruise Line!

Most recently, the company worked with Disney on a NEW treat — Sweetheart Popcorn! It’s perfect for Valentine’s Day, right? It’s available for a limited time at the Kernel Kitchen in Magic Kingdom and consists of strawberry-flavored candy popcorn, M&Ms, crushed chocolate cookies, mini marshmallows, dark chocolate drizzle, and a white chocolate drizzle. YUM!

Popcorn Junkie used to have a staff of two people, but has grown to nine since partnering with Disney. Owner Neal Crosier said, “We’ve increased our business at least 200% since working with Disney World” and added that it’s “beyond what I imagined it would be, and I see great opportunity to continue to expand.”
