I’m 99% Sure You’ve Never Eaten This Disney World Snack – But You Should

There are TONS of exciting, delicious snacks in Disney World. Trust me, I have a list of snacks I’d like to try about as tall as I am.

Tiana’s Famous Beignets were a big hit for me!

On my last trip, I got to try Tiana’s Famous Beignets (which I loved) and stopped by Amorette’s Patisserie for the first time (very impressive!), among a few others. Even though my list is already long, I KNOW there are some more hidden/obscure offerings I’m missing out on, so I asked the team what their favorite hidden snacks are, and I think we’ll ALL be adding these to our lists!

Ice Cream Macaron Sandwich

Over in EPCOT’s France Pavilion, you can grab the delectable Ice Cream Macaron Sandwich at L’Artisan des Glaces! This is exactly what it sounds like too — a scoop of ice cream smushed deliciously between two macarons.

And I thought macarons OR ice cream couldn’t get any better! There are multiple different ice cream and sorbet options to choose from, so everyone can make a combination they’ll love.

DOLE Whip Cherry-Pineapple Swirl

Now this snack LITERALLY just came out, so I’m sure most of you haven’t had it, but I’m here to tell you that you NEED IT! The DOLE Whip Cherry-Pineapple Swirl is currently available at Refreshment Outpost through July 21st!

DOLE Whip Cherry-Pineapple Swirl

We really love the way the pineapple cuts through the sweetness of the cherry. If you’re looking for something refreshing, head this way! (Also, don’t be fooled by the rating below — we do really love this kiosk! If you do too, you should leave a review to bump up that score!)

Tequila Sundae

Just recently, one of our reporters grabbed the new Tequila Sundae from La Cantina de San Angel in EPCOT’s Mexico Pavilion (see how EPCOT’s getting a lot of love here?), and it’s definitely being added to this list!

Tequila Sundae

Now, I personally don’t have any interest in drinking, but for those of you who do, this tastes just like a key lime dessert with a hint of spice, and it’s our reporter’s new favorite way to have Dole Whip. So be sure to give it a try!

Year-Round Flavors at Salt & Straw

Salt & Straw in Disney Springs (huzzah! Different location!) is known for their wild flavors that change each month, but if you’re like me and more prefer the classics, you may have been avoiding this spot. I’m here to tell you that you SHOULDN’T!

Salt & Straw

That’s because Salt & Straw also has year-round flavors that are some of the classics you know and love. It’s the same high quality as the monthly flavors, but in more palatable flavors for those of us with picky tastebuds.

A Donut From Everglazed

Now THIS recommendation comes directly from me, and is again towards my more limited-palate friends BUT who also want to try something that’s a little unique to Disney World, Everglazed is the place for you!

Everglazed Donuts

You may have skipped right by this place because A.) it’s tucked into a back corner of Disney Springs (rude) or B.) you think it’s just plain donuts that you can get anywhere. Everglazed is home to some delicious classic donuts (right up my alley, I love a good donut), BUT they also have special flavors that are unique to the company! It’s personally one of my favorite breakfast spots in Disney Springs, especially if I’m driving back home that day — give it a try next time you’re there and let me know what you think!

Mardi Gras Fritters

If you’re a big fan of fried dough (again, right up my alley), you’ll want to head to grab the Mardi Gras Fritters at Port Orleans Riverside! These are found at Boatwright’s Dining Hall and are made with Panko-covered, deep-fried pimiento cheese topped with pepper jelly.

Mardi Gras Fritters

If you’re someone who doesn’t mind spice, and you’re a big lover of cheese, you’ll definitely want to check these out! I just stayed at this hotel a few months ago and somehow NEVER stepped into the restaurant, so some day I’ll definitely need to fix that!

12-Layer Chocolate Cake

I am SO DOWN for any and all chocolate cake, so I’ve just added this 12-Layer Chocolate Cake from Ale & Compass at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort.

12-Layer Chocolate Cake

This is a Flourless Chocolate Cake and Ganache served with Milk-Coffee Chantilly — yes, it’s flourless which means it’s gluten-free! I might have to add it to the top of my list, because it just looks TOO good!
