Have you ever hunted for Hidden Mickeys before?

A Hidden Mickey is an image of Mickey Mouse worked into the design of a Disney attraction or some other Disney structure. This one above is a hidden Mickey found in the queue of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT! And while you might initially think of rides as being the places to search for hidden Mickeys, they can be found at restaurants too. Roundup Rodeo BBQ has officially opened in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and of course, Disney Imagineers left several Hidden Mickeys behind.
According to a Cast Member we spoke to, there are 14 total confirmed Hidden Mickeys in the restaurant, so you’ll want to look carefully!

Is it just our eyes or does that look like a hidden Mickey on the side of the cow featured on the milk carton? We’re totally going to count that as one of the 14!

We’re pretty sure we see a Hidden Mickey in those green objects forming a planet on the ceiling too (in fact there might be a few in there but we’ll count them together as one for now).

See it?

If you look VERY closely at the image below, it looks like there’s also a hidden Mickey in the green cactus plant to the left-hand side.

See it?

Our eyes could be playing tricks on us, but that sure looks like a hidden Mickey (if you turn it sideways) on the cow Jessie is riding.

But wait — there’s MORE. In addition to Hidden Mickeys, a Cast Member informed us that there are also 2 hidden OSWALDS! That’s right — a hidden reference to one of Walt’s very first characters, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen Oswald hidden in a Disney park, but it’s still exciting to see him get a little nod in this space.
One hidden Oswald appears to be in this image of Ropin’ Woody (Zurg is just to the right).

The knot on the rope looks like an Oswald (center for this head, two pieces of rope sticking up for his ears)!

Could this be another hidden Oswald (if you turn the Prospector’s tie upside down?)…

…or maybe it’s the tie in Woody’s bandana here (that might be a better fit)? Tell us what you think!

And it gets even better. Within the restaurant, you’ll also find 2 hidden tacos! Yes- you read that correctly, TACOS! Why? Well, because the restaurant was referred to as “Project Taco” during construction. You can see one taco underneath the sun by Bo Peep’s sheep!

And that’s not all. While those might be some of the hidden Mickeys, Oswalds, and tacos you can find, the restaurant also has references to the Toy Story movies that are more tucked away, references to other Disney movies, and MUCH more.

Have you considered the possibility that the alleged hidden Mickey on the milk carton cow could be a hidden Oswald? I think the nebulous shape of the ears can make it go either way.
