If you’ve been fortunate enough to stay in more than one Disney World Resort hotel, chances are you probably have a favorite.

Not all Disney hotels are created equally — and not all stays will be the same from trip to trip either. A new report has been released that shows just how all the hotels in Disney World stack up against each other, and you can see it here!
U.S. News & World Report has released its ranking of the BEST hotels in Walt Disney World. They based the list on “an analysis of industry awards, hotel star ratings, and user ratings.” There are a TON of Disney World hotels, so we’re sharing the top fifteen — you can see the full list here.

Keep in mind that this list is not exclusively Disney-owned-and-operated hotels, either, though all are on Disney World property and have park perks. Now, onto the list! Pro-tip: Click on each box to see how AllEars readers reviewed each hotel!

Our family favorite WAS Contemporary. Before the time share tower took out the North Garden wing, you couldn’t find a better location for a family with young kids to stay. Nice walk from the room to MK in the morning and then later in the day when everyone was tired, leave the kiddos in their stroller and roll onto the monorail for a super quick ride back to the Contemporary on the resort line. Now my grandkids love AK with savanna view, but the incredibly long walks back to the resort lobby can be brutal. All this said, our kids loved AllStars for the bigger than life decor and I loved the $58 per night rooms that could be had in the mid 90’s. There isn’t any “wrong” choices to be made when it comes to Disney resorts.
I disagree with several of these. No way Contemporary and Yacht Club are above Animal Kingdom Lodge. An the number 1 choice for a Disney Resort is not even a Disney resort?
I’m glad the Swan & Dolphin is rated so highly.
