🎶 This is Halloween, this is Halloween. 🎶

Okay, we’re not quite there yet but we are getting close! Halloween can be a magical time to visit Disney World and you don’t even need a ticket to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party to enjoy many of the festive foods, merchandise, and more. But if you’ve been procrastinating getting your Park Pass Reservation, we have news — and you may need to HURRY.
As of October 7th, Magic Kingdom Park Reservations are officially sold out on October 31st for those with theme park tickets. You can still reserve EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios, but Magic Kingdom is no longer an option at this time.

If you’re staying in a Disney World hotel, it’s the same story — Magic Kingdom reservations are sold out on Halloween. Note that this could change but if you’re planning to visit Disney World on Halloween, we recommend reserving another park while you still can.

If you have a Disney World Annual Pass, park reservations on October 31st are still available in all four parks for all four Annual Passes, but there’s no telling how long that will last. (In other words, stop procrastinating and get your Halloween Park Pass now!)

So what happens now if you’re sitting there angry with yourself for not reserving Magic Kingdom on Halloween? There are a few possibilities. Sometimes Disney will quietly add more Park Passes, so we suggest checking the availability calendar regularly just in case.

Also, don’t forget about Park Hopping! If you reserve another Disney Park you could get into Magic Kingdom after 2 PM, but you must scan into your reserved park first, and because it’s a holiday you may run into issues with Magic Kingdom hitting capacity.

If you decide to plan on Park Hopping, note that Magic Kingdom will close at 6PM on Halloween for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, which is a ticketed event that is currently sold out. We’ve seen tickets occasionally available on the day of the event but your mileage may vary, so don’t bank on that happening.

We may sound like a broken record at this point but repeat after us: BOOK YOUR PARK RESERVATIONS AS SOON AS YOU CAN. Don’t wait too long to find all your favorite parks fully booked! You can typically change your mind and switch parks around, so don’t stress about getting everything “perfect” for now. Worst case scenario you can usually Park Hop to hit another park!
