We just noticed something different about the ongoing construction at the Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind attraction in EPCOT!
Cosmic Rewind is an indoor, “storytelling” roller coaster featuring characters from the Guardians of the Galaxy films, and Disney recently hinted at an upcoming announcement about the opening date. While we wait for that big reveal, we took a ride on the Monorail today to check out the construction progress — and we found something NEW!
In case you’re curious, just a few days ago construction at Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind looked like this from our view on the Monorail. As you can see, there were markers on the ground surrounding the Nova Corps Starblaster Ship, and some greenery surrounding the ship.
But during our trip on the Monorail this morning, we noticed a big change. Can you tell what it is?
There was a new futuristic design on the ground! We also noticed Cast Members walking around outside the upcoming attraction’s building.
Disney has already confirmed that Cosmic Rewind will open in Summer 2022, but today Disney teased an upcoming “transmission” (announcement?) coming on Monday, so make sure to check back with AllEars for more news!
