Throughout the year, Disney World will close certain attractions, shops, and even hotels for maintenance and refurbishment.

If you’re heading on vacation, it can be good to know about these in advance so that you can plan ahead. That’s why, here at AllEars, we keep you up to date with all of the latest Disney closures. And, today we’re bringing you a look at everything that will be unavailable between October 25th to 31st!
Magic Kingdom Refurbishments
Walt Disney World Railroad
It’s been a long time since guests could take a ride around Magic Kingdom aboard the Walt Disney World Railroad, and the attraction will continue to be closed through next week as well.

A portion of the train tracks is currently being blocked by construction at TRON: Lightcycle Run in Tomorrowland. And, as work continues on the roller coaster, Disney has not yet released a date when the ride (or the train) will open.

Mickey’s PhilharMagic
Mickey’s PhilharMagic will also remain closed into the next week, as its month-long closure continues.

Disney is currently in the process of adding a new scene featuring characters from Pixar’s Coco and it won’t take much longer! The attraction is set to reopen on November 11th.

EPCOT Refurbishments
Souk-Al-Magreb
At EPCOT, much of the front of the park remains closed as construction continues on the park’s big transformation. But, one closure will also impact a small shop back in World Showcase — Souk-al-Magreb.

The store is located in the Morocco Pavilion and has been closed for a few weeks now, but it will reopen next month on November 5th.
Disney Springs Refurbishments
Aerophile Balloon
And, in Disney Springs, the Aerophile Balloon will only remain closed for part of the week, reopening on October 28th.

So, it won’t be too much longer until guests can opt to go up in the hot air balloon and take in some of the best ariel views of Disney World!
Disney World Resort Refurbishments
The lobby area of Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort has been under construction since June this year, but there is still some more work to be done! Closures are currently impacting the main lobby area, so guests checking in must do so at the temporary location just outside of the lobby in the port cochere.

According to Disney, the lobby will once again be open sometime in late October.
And, that’s everything that will be closed next week for refurbishment in Disney World! Of course, we’ll continue to keep an eye out for other updates that may impact your stay, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
