If you’re looking for some solid air conditioning during your visit to the Disney Parks, one of the best spots to cool down while entertaining the whole family is Mickey’s PhilharMagic!
The show has been around for a while now, but today it’s getting a MAJOR update at Disneyland Resort and Disneyland Paris!
Mickey’s PhilharMagic brings Donald Duck on a musical adventure through some of our favorite Disney films, including The Lion King, Aladdin, and Beauty and the Beast. And, starting today, guests will now see an added scene inspired by the Pixar film Coco!
Prior to entering the theater at the attraction’s location in Disney California Adventure, you can spot posters for some of the films also featured in the PhilharMagic, like The Little Mermaid…
…and Aladdin…
…along with old gems like the 1946 The Whale Who Wanted to Sing at the Met feature.
But, we know you’re here to go un poco loco over the latest Coco scene!
Donald Duck lands in the midst of a big song and dance number to Un Poco Loco between Miguel and Hector…
…as he navigates riding alebrijes…
…and he takes the main stage with the iconic duo to perform in the Land of the Dead. Sounds like a fiesta, right?
Here’s a behind-the-scenes look on how the new scene came to be.
The scene has been added to Disney California Adventure show, and it will be added to Disney World’s show later this year for the 50th anniversary celebrations.
Heading to Disney World soon? Here are the hotels you should book if you’re spending lots of time at EPCOT!
