New ‘Coco’ Scene Coming to a Disney Parks Attraction!

The Disney parks have some amazing attractions and some that we’d consider a little underrated!

Mickey’s PhilharMagic

One of those attractions is Mickey’s PhilharMagic, a very cool 3D adventure that centers around the music of Disney — and Donald’s antics. This show is featured in Magic Kingdom, Disney California Adventure, and Disneyland Paris, and guess what? It’s getting a new scene!

Mickey’s PhilharMagic is getting a brand-new animated scene based on Disney and Pixar’s Coco.

The new scene will feature “Un Poco Loco” from the much-loved film and one of the original composers, world-renowned Germaine Franco, was tapped to produce Coco score unique to Mickey’s PhilharMagic. YES. New Coco music!

Beyond that, the scene’s combination of Coco characters and Donald Duck marks the first time ever that Disney and Pixar animators have worked together to show characters from both animation studios together on screen.

Where’s the pie?

The scene will be added to all of the show’s current musical numbers and will debut in Disney California Adventure and Disneyland Paris on July 17th. The Magic Kingdom show will receive the addition later this year during Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary!

Are you as excited as we are about the new scene? Tell us in the comments!
