Recently, Disney brought back an old tradition to celebrate Cast Members!

Early in the morning, Disneyland held a special Rubber Duck Race at it’s a small world for their Cast Members! The Cast Members, for $5, could get a rubber duck, decorate it, and try to win the race. The ducks made their way through the whole ride!

All proceeds from this race went to Goodwill of Orange County, which provides employment opportunities to people in the area. It was good fun for a good cause! Ken Potrock, the President of Disneyland Resort, posted about the race on Instagram.

This was just a small part of all the ways Disneyland is celebrating its Cast Members this week! This celebration coincides with the anniversary of Disneyland, which is 66 years old this year.
