If you’re not hopping on a bus to get to the Magic Kingdom from a resort, then you’ll find yourself parking pretty far away from the main entrance.
The Transportation and Ticket Center is Magic Kingdom’s “parking lot,” and guests can choose to board either the monorail or the ferryboat for their ride over to the park’s entrance. And, while the lines for both transportation options tend to more pretty quickly, today, guests headed into the park may encounter longer lines than normal.
We were on our way over to Magic Kingdom this morning and arrived at the Transportation and Ticket Center to find that both the Express Monorail and the Resort Monorail were down for guests. Instead, Cast Members were directing all guests to the Ferryboat for their transportation over to the park.
And, with all guests being directed to the same spot, the line started to grow…and grow…and grow.
By the time that we were close to boarding the ferryboat, the line had extended far back near the security area.
A look at the line currently for the Magic Kingdom ferry. The Monorail is currently down at the TTC, making it a much longer wait for the ferry. pic.twitter.com/jfJBAjxatn
