The Best Face Mask Accessories to Bring to Disney World

Earlier this month, Disney World changed their face mask policy so that masks are no longer required in most outdoor common areas.

And now that face mask mandates are changing, so are the accessories you should be bringing with you into the parks. And, we’re breaking down the accessories you’ll need to take with you during your next Disney World vacation!

Let’s recap the current mask mandates one more time, just in case you need a little refresher! Just recently, Disney World has switched its policies in accordance with CDC guidelines. Now, ALL guests are able to take off their face masks, regardless of their vaccination statuses. There are specific circumstances when face masks are required, though, including when guests enter rides and throughout attractions, in all theaters, on all transportation, in restaurants, in any indoor locations, and more.

So, that means you’ll still need to have face masks and these accessories handy with you when you’re in the parks!

Anti-Fog Spray

As you’re taking your mask on and off throughout the day, it can be a bit of a hassle when it comes to your sunglasses or glasses. Instead of attempting to readjust your mask to avoid fog time and time again, anti-fog spray is a great tool to have handy!

All you need to do it spritz some of the spray on the lenses of your glasses, let it dry for a quick minute, and then wipe away the excess with a lens cloth for fog-free eyesight!

Face Mask Chains

Now, you may have not kept this item handy when you had to have your mask on at all times. But, face mask chains can be a lifesaverwhen it comes to toting your mask around the parks. Instead of attempting to carry your mask with you or stick it in your bag, you can hook the face mask chains around the ear loops. Then, you can remove your mask on and off with ease, as it just dangles around your neck like a necklace or lanyard!

But, if you don’t want to wear your mask around your neck throughout the day, there’s another way to make sure your face covering stays safe and sanitary!

Mask Storage Case

Since you’ve probably got your park bag handy in Disney World, you can place your mask neatly in a storage case! The case is made of durable plastic and big enough to store masks without folding them. However, it’s small enough that you can slip it in and out of your bag easily.

That way, you don’t have to fish around in your bag for your mask or risk making it dirty by pulling it in and out over and over again.

Extra Masks

Of course, you can always bring extra masks with you in your bag too! As a matter of fact, this is probably a must-do, since there are more benefits to having extra masks than you think!

Brand new face masks!

Other than have another face covering in case you lose your primary one, you can actually use disposable face masks on water rides so you don’t have to worry about wearing a wet mask all day long.

Mask Wash Bag

While you’re visiting the parks, you can actually wash your mask pretty easily at the Disney Resorts! If you have a washer, you can pop your masks in these small laundry bags, along with your other delicates. Or, you can place the masks in the laundry bag and soak them in a large bowl with a bit of laundry detergent. Just make sure you softly rub them in circular motions, since they won’t be going through a wash cycle!
