It’s been a BUSY past week for Disney News!

So we’re breaking down some of the BIGGEST news stories that took place this week to keep you up-to-date! Let’s take a look at what’s happening in the Disney Parks and beyond!
PeopleMover’s Reopening
After waiting over a year to ride the PeopleMover once again in Disney World, the beloved Tomorrowland attraction finally reopened to guests in the Magic Kingdom! After Disney released its debut date and hours of operation, the ride had a bit of a rough start with a delays and later evacuations.

When the attraction started up, the PeopleMover had a long line (but not that long of a wait time)!

We’ll be sure to keep an eye on the PeopleMover moving forward now that it’s just reopened.

Disney Wish
The Disney Cruise Line finally debuted a first look inside the Disney Wish during the Once Upon a Disney Wish virtual event. And, the newest ship is like nothing we’ve ever seen before!

We got a look inside the atrium with its golden statue of Cinderella at the bottom of the staircase and Grand Hall Stage front and center…

…before finding out details of the amazing activities that will be available on the ship! Up on the pool deck, you’ll find the AquaMouse attraction at-sea, Toy Story Splash Zone, brand new deck parties, and Hero Zone competition.

Kids will be able to explore the newly designed Oceaneers Club with Marvel Superhero Academy, Fairytale Hall, and the Walt Disney Imagineer Lab.

Here are all the characters you can meet onboard!
The Walt Disney Theater will receive a magical forest design with shows like Disney’s Aladdin — A Musical Spectacular and two original shows. There will be two cinemas called Wonderland and Neverland that will show Disney Premieres at Sea, featuring films on their release dates.

An entertainment hub called Luna, themed to match the Pixar short La Luna, will provide daytime family fun and a nighttime space for adults only.

Here’s what you need to know about the ship’s entertainment!
There are SO many new dining locations on the Disney Wish, including the Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge, Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure, Worlds of Marvel, and the Disney-themed restaurant 1923.

Find out more details on dining here!
The cruise ship will have 3 categories for its 1254 staterooms. Around 90% of these rooms are outside staterooms. 948 of those outside rooms are verandah rooms, while the other 185 are a regular oceanview.

Some of the other rooms include the first-ever staterooms above the bridge with the concierge and premium options…

…as well as four royal suites that will be a VERY magical place to stay.

The maiden voyage of the ship will leave from Port Canaveral, FL, and will be a 5-day trip to the Bahamas from June 9th to 14th, 2022. Guests will stop at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, along the way. There are also 3 and 4-night cruises available, as well as a Disney Vacation Club special voyage. Bookings will open to all guests on May 27th, although Castaway Club members and others will have priority booking ahead of that date.

We are SO hyped for that summer 2022 debut of the Disney Wish. As more details are revealed about the ship, we’ll be sure to keep you in the loop!

Disneyland’s Grand Reopening
Oh, Disneyland, how we’ve missed you! That’s why we are so happy to set foot in the parks in the first time in over a year this week. We were able to explore Disneyland a bit earlier than the official April 30th grand reopening during the early previews.

We were able to experience the newer ride procedures, including updates to Rise of the Resistance.

We hopped on the brand new Snow White’s Enchanted Wish…

…as well as scoped out the additions to the Haunted Mansion.

But, we’re made our way back again for the grand reopening! We saw a variety of crowds throughout the parks, since attendance is limited to California residents currently.

And, you can take a look at the rest of our adventures in Disneyland below!

That’s a whole lot of BIG news for just one week! And, we can’t wait to share more awesome projects in the works with you soon. Stay tuned with All Ears for the latest Disney entertainment and news!
