We Can Guess Your Age By Your Favorite Disney Ride

If you’ve ever been to Walt Disney World, then you know that it’s home to dozens of rides (and honestly, what else would you expect from a theme park?!).

Expedition Everest in Disney’s Animal Kingdom

With so many choices, it’s hard to pick a favorite. However, most people secretly (or not-so-secretly) have one that they like more than all the others.

Today, we’re here to prove that we can guess your age based on your favorite Disney World ride, so make your decision and then scroll through this article to see if we got it right!

Dumbo, Magic Carpets of Aladdin, or Triceratop Spin

If your favorite ride is one of Disney’s classic spinners, then you are definitely an infant or, at the very oldest, a toddler. (How are you even reading this post?! So impressive!) We can’t blame you for your taste because you’re just a wee little one, and also, these are probably the only rides you’ve ever been on. Carry on with your life; no judgment here.

Dumbo’s a classic!

Barnstormer

If The Barnstormer is your favorite ride, you’re probably a child between the ages of 4-6. Any older than that, and you likely don’t fit very comfortably in the ride! You’re not tall enough yet to ride a bigger coaster, but don’t worry, you’re well on the way to being a bona fide thrill junkie.

The coaster for miniature coaster lovers!

Test Track or Tomorrowland Speedway

Let’s face it, if you’re obsessed with car-themed rides, you’re probably too young to drive. Our best guess is that you’re a kid under the age of 10 or you’ve been breathing in too many of those fumes. We hate to break it to you, kid, but Tomorrowland Speedway isn’t nearly as fun once you get your license. (Test Track, on the other hand, is still pretty thrilling! 😉)

The ride with the worst smell in the history of ever.

Frozen Ever After

Clearly, you’re not a parent, otherwise, you’d be begging not to hear “Let it Go” for the millionth time. Instead, you’re probably the child who put their poor parents through the torture of hearing the song on repeat, and you’re in a Frozen-loving phase that has lasted waaaay too long. (But if we’re honest, we secretly love this ride as adults, and your parents probably will, too.)

Okay, we guess we can’t blame you for loving this ride.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

If Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is your favorite ride, it’s probably because other people told you that it needs to be your favorite. Our best guess is that you’re under the age of 15 and you don’t have any strong attachments to other coasters, but you grew up in the age of multi-hour waits for this ride. You love it for the hype, and we have to admit, it does earn most of that hype!

Just please don’t wait 3 hours for it…it’s not worth THAT much!

Pirates of the Caribbean

First of all, if Pirates is your fave, you’re a HUGE Disney nerd. (It’s okay, we are too.) You’re in your early 30s or late 20s and you don’t need a thrill ride to have a good time. You probably know most of the words to the impossibly difficult theme song, and you’re the kind of friend who bugs all your friends with Disney facts…but it’s okay cause you’re a downright hoot in the theme parks!

Great, now we’ll be singing “Yo Ho Yo Ho” all day long.

Living with the Land

Okay, let’s be honest here: we love Living with the Land as much as the next person, but if it’s your absolute favorite ride you’re probably retirement age, and it gives you inspiration for your own home garden. Otherwise, you’re just temporarily in love with the ride because it’s a great place to take a nap.

A slow, relaxing boat ride…what better place for a power nap?

Journey Into Imagination with Figment

Only two types of people love Figment: those in their 40s-50s who rode the original version and will be Figment fans until they die or those in their 20s who are the children of the first group of people and love it because their parents told them to. Either way, you’re probably more a fan of the dragon himself or the song than you are of the actual ride. Can you tell us that you really like the smell of skunks? Be honest…

The OG was better, we can all agree.

Jungle Cruise

You’re a middle-aged adult who loves corny jokes, plain and simple. You’re not difficult to please, and you may be the only one on the boat laughing out loud. You’re a true hero to those skippers, though, so keep up the good work!

Ahh, the backside of water…gets us every time.

Walt Disney World Railroad

If this is your favorite ride, we imagine you’re 65+, and you don’t feel the need to do anything at Disney World besides “soak it all in.” You probably also know where every single rocking chair is located in the parks. (If you’re not in the 65+ category, you’re the person who greatly underestimated how far you’d be walking, and you just want the chance to sit down for 20 minutes.)

It’s an oldie but a goodie.

Mad Tea Party

You’re a five-year-old child with a stomach of steel. That’s it. You’re the only one.

Most people don’t enjoy spinning sporadically for several minutes.

Mission: SPACE

We hate to break it to you, but you do not exist. If you think your favorite ride is Mission: SPACE, please go ride anything else, and then reevaluate your opinion.

Who ACTUALLY wants to do this?!

Unfortunately, we don’t have the time to list out every single ride in the parks, but you get a general idea. If you’re the one and only Mission: SPACE fan out there, we salute you for your bravery and we applaud you for loving the only Disney ride that comes with barf bags. You’re a true hero.

11 Replies to “We Can Guess Your Age By Your Favorite Disney Ride”

    1. I am 35. I grew up going to Disney. My Favs r they MTNS, Buzz, Pirates, Flight of Passage. I am also a Mom. My Son loved Dumbo at 9mths old. We r going for his 5th birthday in 2021. My Mom is almost 65. She loves Railroad and Splash.

  1. Did we have any money on your guess? I’m 73 and two of my favorite rides are dumbo and Aladdin. Dumbo brings me back to watching Disney’s wonderful world of color (in black and white no color tv for many years) and dreaming of going to California to Disneyland, to ride dumbo. And Aladdin reminds me of,,,dumbo. Didn’t actually get to Disneyland til I was twenty two. Pirates was an e ticket back when you only got a few tickets in each alphabetic character. Peter Pan was something less than e, but pirates and Peter were my two in person favorites.

  2. No peoplover, or Buzz Lightyear, or Finding Memo?

I know, those three are wildly different yet they are all good.

  3. I love most of the rides. I have never ridden Mission Space because I have motion sickness and choose not to. Can you guess my age from that? If you have read any of my previous comments you should pretty much already know my age. I post on here everyday, multiple times a day!!!!!!

  4. My favorite is Haunted Mansion. Considering that’s such an iconic Disney ride with a cult following, I was surprised to not see it on the list.
