You’re about to have the chance to experience Disney World’s newest ride EARLY.
For several years, many guests have eagerly anticipated the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. While this re-theme of Splash Mountain has courted controversy from some corners, the general consensus has been excitement watching the mountains physically transform and eagerly gobbling up all the information Disney has provided about its story and technology. Now, we FINALLY know when the ride is opening… and even how some can get the chance to preview it first!
During a Disney-themed broadcast of American Idol on May 12th — after months of teasing a Summer 2024 date — the company officially announced that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure would officially be opening on Friday, June 28th.
Disney also announced that the attraction will offer PREVIEWS prior to its official opening. According to Disney, “And if you’re wondering how Tiana will cater to her regulars, you might just hear some delightful details about preview opportunities ahead of the official grand opening for Florida-based Cast Members, Annual Passholders and eligible Disney Vacation Club Members soon… keep an eye out for more information coming to you starting May 14!”

I wish you could sign up for it. We live in NW Florida so not feeling a mid June drive to possibly ride it.
Does anyone have experience with oast previews that were Virtual Queues? Relatively easy or shot in the dark kinda thing?
