It’s been a BIG week for Disney Cruise Line news — we’re learning even more about the newest ship in Disney’s fleet, the Wish!

We previously learned that the first sailings will start for the Wish in the summer of 2022, but we also learned today that bookings will open up on May 27th.

But we’re also learning more about the ship itself — we’ve seen some concept art, but today, Disney Cruise Line announced more details about what guests on the ship can expect, and one of these experiences is “out of this galaxy.”

Today, Disney Cruise Line confirmed that the Wish will feature the Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge.

Here, Star Wars fans will be able to sip on signature drinks inspired by the movies, while hanging out in the elegant lounge inspired by Dryden Vos’ ship in Solo: A Star Wars Story.

And, while you enjoy your otherworldly concoctions, you’ll be traveling through space — literally! Thanks to the virtual “window,” you’ll be able to see all of the planets that you travel through (including Batuu, Tatooine, Mustafar, and Coruscant) throughout the evening — using hyperspeed, of course.

And, you’ll want to be sure that you have a good seat to view it all because you’ll also get to see scenes from the movies unfold around you and you’ll probably recognize some of the space ships!

The lounge will fully immerse guests in the experience with surround sound and a “holotube” that will give you a holographic look at the spaceships nearby!

If that sounds awesome, you’ll want to keep checking back, because we’re reporting on all things Disney Wish today!
