Magic Kingdom’s 50th Anniversary is coming up soon, and that means that the park is getting spruced up!
We’ve already seen various touch-ups happen as far as painting goes, and special decorations are currently being added to Cinderella Castle. This morning, Disney released some details on a makeover coming to the Main Street Confectionery, and in that post, we got more information about makeovers coming to Fantasyland attractions!
A few days ago, we noticed some permits detailing new work on signs for select rides in the park, and now we know what’s getting changed! In the Disney Parks Blog post from this morning, they shared that guests may notice “shimmering gold leaf being added to your favorite Fantasyland attractions.”
Gold is one of the prominent colors that we’ve seen used in the 50th Anniversary makeovers so far, so it makes sense that Disney would be adding some fancy gold touches to the facade of classic rides. We can’t wait to see what these new signs look like in person — they sound like they’re going to be stunning!
We’ll make sure to keep you updated with any more construction details from the parks or information about the 50th Anniversary. Stay tuned to AllEars for the latest theme park news!
