Festival season is widely regarded as the “best time” to visit EPCOT, and nowadays, “festival season” is pretty much the whole year!
With EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts running at the beginning of the year, the Flower and Garden Festival in the Spring, the Food and Wine Festival in the fall, and the Festival of the Holidays for the Christmas season, there are only a few weeks throughout the year where EPCOT isn’t filled with food booths, festival merchandise, and unique entertainment. This year, that window gets even shorter, as EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival will be lasting longer than usual — and we’ve got all the details on it below!
The 2021 festival will begin on March 3rd and end on July 5th, which means that this festival will last about a month longer than it typically does. We’re not used to seeing festivals at EPCOT during the Summer months, but after experiencing the 2020 Food and Wine Festival in July, we can’t say that we mind having more time to enjoy the event!
And it wouldn’t be an EPCOT festival without delicious food. More than 20 Outdoor Kitchens will be arriving in the World Showcase, and we’re thrilled to hopefully see some of our favorites return — we’ll make sure to update you with more information as we get the list of booths and the menus.
As has become tradition for EPCOT festivals, there will also be a scavenger hunt! Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration will be returning, starring the Flower and Garden mascot, Spike the Bee. Guests will search for Spike around the park and win a prize upon completion of the map.
And, per usual, there will be plenty of festival-specific merchandise for guests to shop around the park.
We look forward to sharing more details on this upcoming festival as they become available, so stay tuned to this post as we update it with the latest information. In the meantime, keep an eye on AllEars for all your breaking Disney news from the parks and around the world!
