What happens if the park I want is fully booked?
In a recent CBS News article, a Disney spokesperson confirmed that “Disney will make more space available for annual pass holders and the public later this week.” Up until then, “the reservation system will show fully booked time slots for annual pass holders who try logging on before Friday.”

If I have a hotel reservation, but not everyone in my party has a ticket, will I be able to make a Park Pass reservation for them?
In order to make a Park Pass reservation, each person must have their own valid ticket. Unfortunately even if a person in your part is on your resort reservation, they will not be able to book a Park Pass reservation without a valid ticket as well.
How far out can you make your park reservation at Disney World?
When the Disney Parks Pass system opens, park reservations will be available through September 26th, 2021, based on “your Resort stay and ticket eligibility or ticket eligibility window.”

For guests that have a room-only reservation for 2021 at a Disney Resort hotel (or other select hotels), Disney has stated that you may call the Disney Reservation Center, or your travel professional, starting June 24th, 2020 to “upgrade to a vacation package with tickets” so that you may make your theme park reservations.
Will you be able to park-hop when Disney World reopens?
When the Disney Park Pass System becomes available for booking, guests will be limited to selecting one park per day. They have confirmed that park hopping will be temporarily unavailable at reopening, due to the theme parks keeping attendance limited.

Can I get a refund for my park hopper ticket?
If you are a guest with an existing Park Hopper Option or Park Hopper Plus Option ticket, you will have several options.
- Ticket Extension: You can use your current date-based ticket with the existing add-on by September 26, 2021, though Disney does add that this is “should the options return by that date”
- Ticket Modification: Resort Packages with tickets may be modified or cancelled. To discuss your options, please call the Disney Reservation Center at (407) W-DISNEY or (407) 934-7639 beginning June 22nd, or contact your travel professional.
- Ticket Cancellation: You may also cancel your ticket by calling the Disney Reservation Center at (407) 566-4985 beginning June 22nd, or contact your travel professional.

Disney has said they hope to bring park hopping back soon, and park hopping add-ons are currently available as part of 2021 vacation packages.

Am I able to leave a park and come back to the same one later that day?
Yes, you are! A Cast Member has confirmed with us that if you make a reservation for one park, you may leave and return to that same park later in the day.

How will Annual Passholders be able to use the reservation system?
The Disney Park Pass system went live for Annual Passholders on June 26th. Annual Passholders without a Disney World Resort hotel reservation will be limited to making three reservations at at time. However, Annual Passholders staying at resorts with valid theme park admission can make reservations for each day of their stays.

Annual Passholders also don’t have to make all of their reservations during their stay at a resort. If you happen to be staying five days in July, you can spread your Disney Park Pass reservations out over July and August.

While a Disney Cast Member has stated to us that you should be able to book Disney Park Passes for the length of your resort reservations and then after your stay using your three Annual Pass reservations. However, some readers have reported that they were unable to do so.

The “new” festival will be called A Taste of EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival and it’s going to be a mash-up of both the Flower and Garden and International Food and Wine Festivals.

The festival will reportedly be the longest that Disney has ever held, though they have not yet released an end date. The festival will feature 20 signature global booths, including favorites such as Hawaii, Hops & Barley, and Islands of the Caribbean will be returning.

Good thing I have old magic bands. It’s too convenient to use rather than have to whip my phone out and open the somewhat clunky app.
If they add app functionality that utilizes the NFC capability of the Apple Watch then I’ll get over it. Until then magic bands rock.
I’m an AP holder with a definite trip planned Labor Day weekend. I have 3 park reservations made. I low key want to ride up to Orlando this weekend and hit the parks. If there’s availability, will they allow me in?
Hi Casey! Currently, they are letting Passholders make three Park Pass reservations total, plus an additional days where you have a Disney World Resort hotel reservation. You must have a Park Pass reservation to be let into the parks.
Any word on whether or not Savi’s lightsaber workshop might be available by mid-August? I know it’s not on the list for availability when the parks reopen in July, but I’m holding onto hope…
Hello -first, thanks for all that very clear information!!! :0)
Second, the mask requirement is a deal breaker for me. My hotel reservations at Saratoga Springs are for November 28-December 5 so I am really holding out hope that masks will be optional by then. However, if masks are still a requirement- or even if the COVID numbers In FL are at a number that makes people uncomfortable, is there any flexibility with Disney in changing your vacation dates or even (ha) getting a refund?
If an APH books a stay and uses 3 reservations for days during their stay, do they receive 3 more opportunities on Friday during the APH window to use at other times or do they need to wait until they’ve used their resort dates?
There’s on specific date I want after our trip in early November so I need to know if I should take off a day during our resort stay or if I’m supposed to use the November resort days first before I can reserve the later date.
But also . . . would that mean I wouldn’t be available to make reservations before my resort stay?
Hi we’re travelling from the UK to visit next summer. We usually buy 14 day tickets which are activated from the first day you enter the parks. As we won’t know until October which two weeks we’ll be visiting my question is if I were to make park reservations for the last week of July and first week of August but then have to change weeks later in the year (to say first two weeks of August) will it allow us to modify the weeks?
Thanks for all the updates they’re great 💪🏼
Hi Nicky! Park reservations can be modified! At this time, only guests with tickets and hotel reservations can make them, so they are limited to the dates of their hotel reservation. However, we expect when Disney Park Pass opens to guests with just tickets, they will be able to make reservations and modify to new dates as well (subject to availability).
Are you able to cancel a reservation and re-book for a future date?
Hi Brenda! For the theme park reservation system, you are able to modify the park reservation you have!
I have a room only reservation at the end of July (2020). Do you think I will be able to buy theme park tickets?
I don’t think so, you could call and ask but I think you’ll have to cancel. Or just stay with no park visits.
This was a terrible roll-out. This should have been done in phases. As soon as we knew our vacation was going to canceled in May and we re-booked immediately for September and now we cannot get any parks! You should only be able to book 30 days or less before your trip. Unfair advantage especially for those of who already had to miss their original booking 🙁
Im trying to access the park pass reservation system this morning. Has anyone had any luck getting in and can tell me which tab to start with
I have a resort reservation for December, but no park tickets. We usually buy Salute tickets from Shades of Green. Will we be able to purchase park tickets before the end of summer? Trying to figure out if we will even be able to get in a park.
Hi Laura! At this time, Disney has only said that new tickets and reservations for 2020 will be available “later this summer”, so they have not yet provided a date! We would recommend speaking with them directly regarding your reservation.
Disney is providing no answers. I’ve talked to them twice and all they will tell you is “later this year.” It’s kind of insane that people without room reservations at all are going to get the same shot at 2020 tickets as those of us with room reservations, but this seems to be what Disney is doing. It’s almost as if they WANT us to cancel our visits.
What time will the system be opening up for reservations tomorrow?
I’m going in December and with hotel and tickets booked. I am most concerned with getting to AK on my birthday. And just want to make sure I’m in MDE on time to do this.
I’ve been trying to get into the park pass system since 7 am. Not sure it is working yet.
Everything I have read from Disney’s website is that the opening of the reservations system tomorrow is just through late September. They will be opening the reservations system up 60 days before arrival for those traveling in the future (we are heading down for Thanksgiving).
I have a 4-Park Magic Ticket valid from 4/26/2020 to 9/26/2020. My original room-only reservation was cancelled. Can I make a new 2021 room-only reservation on June 28th? Also, if I make park reservations for the end of April 2021, can they be changed for different days or are they set in stone?
The big question for us is how many people can you book in a party. We have 5.
Hi Sam! While they haven’t given a specific limit, we expect that everyone in your party on your reservation will be able to be included in the park reservation!
Will you be able to visit other resorts for quick service meals and to explore like the new barn at Fort Wilderness?
Hi Betty! At this time, Disney has not confirmed whether that will or will not be an option, but we will let you know as soon as they do!
