Disney World is preparing itself for its theme parks to reopen in July!
While Disney won’t be opening up hotel and ticket reservations for 2020 until later this summer (though reservations are available at the end of July for 2021 vacations), the parks have rolled out a bunch of news about upcoming festivals and events.
Disney World announced that Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is cancelled this year as a health and safety precaution. And now, Disney has started to send emails to guests with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party reservations about how refunds will be happening during this time.
Disney will provide refunds to guests who paid with credit cards to their original form of payment, while guests who paid with cash will receive a mailed check or Disney Gift Card with the original amount paid. Guests who purchased tickets with a Disney Gift Card or Disney Rewards Dollars will receive a digital Disney Gift Card instead.
We will continue to keep you updated with more information about Disney World’s upcoming events!
