A Taste of Food and Wine Festival is Coming SOON to EPCOT!
Ahead of the reopening of EPCOT on July 15th, one major question was whether EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival would be continuing for its planned August start date.
Disney has confirmed that they will be hosting “A Taste of Food and Wine Festival” starting on July 15th, the day that EPCOT reopens! The new festival will be a mash-up of both the Flower and Garden and International Food and Wine Festivals.
Eat to the Beat Concert Series Cancelled
With “A Taste of Food and Wine Festival” starting on July 15th, one typical mainstay for EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival has been given a status update.
The Eat to the Beat Concert series has been cancelled “in an effort to accommodate proper physical distancing.” However, Disney has assured they will still be hosting iconic EPCOT entertainment such as Mariachi Cobre, the JAMMitors and more!
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party Cancelled
Another cancellation announced by Disney were the Mickey’s Not SO Scary Halloween Parties planned for the late summer and early fall.
Due to the after-hours events featuring parades, fireworks, and more activities that would make it difficult to ensure spatial distancing, Disney has announced that they will not be holding any of the parties this year.
Typhoon Lagoon’s H2O Glow Nights Cancelled
Disney World has also confirmed that they will be cancelling another special ticket event — the H2O Glow Nights that typically take place throughout the summer at Typhoon Lagoon.
