The Tri-Circle-D Ranch at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campgrounds recently underwent some major renovations.
There is a whole new barn and even a new home for a piece of history! And now, Disney has shared a sneak peek at the newly renovated spot.
The new state-of-the-art barn features more storage space, with 10 new stalls and new automatic water stations. The new, larger barn is twice the size of the original one, featuring a new tack room, a wedding harness room, and a museum all about Walt Disney’s love for horses.
A main feature of the museum is the historic 1907 Dragon Calliope that was a part of Disneyland parades back in the 1950s.

Make sure to check out the museum next time you’re at the Tri-Circle-D Ranch. If you’re lucky you may also see Elsa and her new foal Violet out for some exercise!

Are the pony rides open?
Can we visit other resorts if we don’t have table reservations? I had planned on visiting a few other resorts to explore and eat a quick service meal on non-park days.
