As you know, Epcot is undergoing a major transformation!Â

From the Main Entrance to brand new pavilions, the park is getting a huge makeover!
And today, we are saying goodbye to Mouse Gear as we knew it.
You probably know the entrance of the biggest store in Epcot looked like this:

And now, it looks like this:

That’s because, Mouse Gear is getting an all new look!

And for the time being, it lives in a temporary house — Innoventions East where Colortopia used to be.

The temporary store is about half the size of the original, with two registers set up.

There are displays set up for various types of merchandise, such as mugs which they’ve cutely called “Cafe.”

There’s a big selection of the new 2020 collection.

There’s also a wall set up for Head Gear, complete with Ears and hats.

We spotted a MagicBand display…

…as well as patches and buttons!

Of course, favorite take-homes such as plushes, home goods, and games can found as well.

You can also satisfy your sweet tooth with some Goofy’s Candy Company goodies or Disney-branded snacks. (Friendly reminder, lots of these count as snacks on the dining plan!)

Apparel is abundant as well — we love this rainbow collection…

…and this Toy Story-inspired merch!

While this location isn’t as creative or expansive as the original Mouse Gear, we gotta say, we’re overall impressed with this temporary set-up!

As of now, we don’t have a timeline for how long Mouse Gear will live in this temporary house, but we will keep you updated!

A definite dearth of clothing for men.
Mouse Gears is my very favorite store. I hope they don’t make a mess of it like they
did the World of Disney at Disney Springs.
The World of Disney was nice previously because each room had specific items and you
knew which room to go and find them. Now it is just a mish-mash and you wander all over the place and never seem to find what you want. Worst makeover of a store I have
ever seen. Please don’t do that to Mouse Gears
