REVIEW: This Disney’s Galaxy’s Edge Snack Wasn’t What We Were Expecting, But We Aren’t Mad

Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run has new missions in Galaxy’s Edge, and we’re just as excited as everyone else!

Time for some new eats!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is celebrating with some new eats around this area of the park, but are they worth the cost? Don’t worry, we headed into the park to try them out for you and give you our full review!

Our first stop was Kat Saka’s Kettle, which is where people head to grab the fan-favorite Cold Brew Black Caf, but it’s now also the home of Grogu’s Cookies, which can be yours for $6.29. These are White Chocolate-dipped Macaron Cookie with Pineapple Cream.

Grogu’s Cookies

These had a really satisfying crunch without tasting stale or dry, but the white chocolate on the bottom melted almost instantly, so these are definitely messy. We were unable to distinguish the flavor of the pineapple cream filling but they definitely had a very slightly fruity flavor. We’d get these again, but we do think they’re a little pricey for not being incredible, and for the fact that you only get three.

They’re good, but not great!

We also headed over to Docking Bay 7 to grab the Sweet and Spicy Puffer Pig Pasta for $15.99, which is Flat Noodles with Pork Belly, Bok Choy, Sweet-and-Spicy Soy Sauce, and Hard-boiled Egg.

Sweet and Spicy Puffer Pig Pasta

This was certainly more spicy than sweet, and while we can handle our spice pretty well, we were pleasantly surprised at how spicy this truly was (it’s not Disney spicy, it’s actually got quite the kick!). The pickled vegetables (red onion, bok choy and shredded carrots) were crunchy and added a nice contrasting texture to the soft noodles. The bits of pork belly were very tender and not super fatty, though we do wish there was a bit more of it. Overall, we think it’s a filling dish without being too heavy, so we’d get it again and recommend it if you’re a little bit more of an adventurous eater.

The egg on top was pretty neat!
