All Events, Closures and Refurbishments at Magic Kingdom or Polynesian in Walt Disney World during July, September and November

July 2024

Mar 1 - Late 2024Polynesian : Disney ResortsDisney’s Polynesian Village Resort While the Resort remains open to guests, areas are currently being renovated to include new Disney Vacation Club Villas, restaurants, and even new recreation offerings! The Disney Vacation Club Villas are expected to open in late 2024.
January 24th - Summer 2024Frontierland : Magic KingdomSplash Mountain Splash Mountain will close on January 24th, 2023 to reopen as the new Tiana's Bayou Adventure in summer 2024.
Jan. 01 - Summer 2024Magic Kingdom : Walt Disney WorldTiana's Bayou Adventure Tiana's Bayou Adventure, the newly re-themed version of Splash Mountain, will open sometime in summer 2024.
January 27th - Summer 2024Frontierland : Magic KingdomCountry Bear Jamboree Country Bear Jamboree will CLOSE on January 27th, 2024, for the refurbishment. Disney announced that the new show should open Summer 2024.
Aug 9th - Oct 31stMagic Kingdom : Walt Disney World2024 Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party The first Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will kick off on Friday, August 9th, 2024. Additional parties will take place on select nights through October 31st, 2024. Last year, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ran from August 11th through November 1st, with 38 dates to choose from.
