Tips for Disney Parks & Cruise Lines
Our daughter was two on our most recent Disney trip. She knew her name but we wanted some security in case she was separated from us for any reason. We went to Walmart where they have the machine that makes luggage and pet tags. For a few dollars, we made a red heart shaped tag with her name and our cell phone number as well as her Godfather's number at home. We then put it on a chain under her clothing. We explained to her that she was show this to someone with a CM pin if she got lost. She didn't take it off the entire trip as she loved her new jewelry! - Lisa McGrail
If you plan on visiting WDW during the winter months, buy several pairs of those "magic" stretch gloves before you leave for your trip. If a cold front comes through during your visit and you need gloves, you'll be happy you bought them before you left home. The parks sells them for $6.00 a pair. Quite a difference in price than what your local Wal-Mart sells them for. - Noreen Rachuba
During the course of our Disney vacation, we accumulated a huge number of plastic Disney bags. Instead of throwing them away after we removed our purchases, we kept them in a drawer in our room and used them to wrap and cushion breakable items that we were carrying on the plane on the wayhome. - Erin

I noticed the first time my girls were so caught up in the pin trading they were trading pins they had just purchased for different pins, just to trade them at the next store or ride. So i came up with this idea and it was great...Before you go to DisneyWorld, get online and shop for pins. Usually discontinued sets are a real bargin! Be sure and purchase original pins (no one wants a knock off).Ttake these pins on your trip and then you will have all the fun of trading and chance of getting a unique pin. not to mention the pins that you trade may be ones others are looking for! - Sam Knight
I really enjoy scrapbooking, especially from my Disney trips! One way I have found to really jazz up my Disney pages (for free!) is to use the Disney paint chips from Home Depot. Many of the colors are cut into a Mickey shape that can be peeled from the backing paper and placed into a scrapbook. - Susan Kolmetz

DISNEY'S HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS - Can someone stay in line at Tower of Terror and then, at the last minute, get off? Yes! You will enter a "real" elevator and be let out at the end of the ride where the ride photos are. It is worth seeing the inside queue of this attraction. Chris

This year, instead of the regular autograph books or white baseball hats to have the characters sign, I wanted something that I could bring home and use in our scrapbook. I bought a "Stax" pack of 100 sheets of multicolored card stock pre-cut into 4" x 6" sheets. (I chose the primary colors.) I then separated them into three stacks, one for each of my children, and punched a hole in the top left corner of each sheet. I had gotten three of the new key rings that are basically oval clips with a ring attached to them. I then let each of my kids choose one of the "shaped" key rings that matched (i.e., heart, star, etc.). That clip was then attached to the oval on each "book" and the outer clip was used to let the kids attach their book to a belt loop, backpack, etc. Then, when we returned home, I just unhooked the pages from the clip and each autograph can be used in the scrapbook. (We always take black Sharpie markers with us to use.) - Michelle Suit

From time to time people want to know the location of the closest church to WDW. Now you can search: http://masstimes.org. You can search for services in any state and town. They even have city maps, too. I thought this might be helpful to anyone wanting to go to services while on vacation. Tina
When getting character autographs, please have your children hand the character the pen with the tip down. It's very hard to turn the pen around and hold an autograph book. Also felt tip markers work best. - Stacey

MAGIC KINGDOM - If you are using your own stroller to go to the Magic Kingdom take the Ferry Boat rather than the Monorail. You won't have to fold your stroller. Just stroll on and stroll off!!! - MyersFam1

ALL PARKS - On our last trip to Disney we brought our own 2 way radios. This came in extremely handy and we were able to separate and change plans as we needed. We had to share the frequency with quite a few other people, but if you don't mind waiting your turn, it really is a convenient way to communicate if you decide to split up. - Sharmon Simonetti
