we got a last minute (2 days prior) rsvp for the lounge area. It worked out well as you can order from lounge menu and not pay for the prix fix. We split two appetizers and had a dessert. Our server was very attentive and Brandon who was at the entrance was super friendly.
Pros:
like the lounge and would do that again. The trip "up" was fun as was the trip "down"Cons:

The atmosphere was out of this world (pun very much intended)! The food was just okay and took over two hours from our reservation until we left but our 5 year old literally thinks he has been to space and that’s priceless!
Pros:
Very unique atmosphere and the servers were amazing!Cons:
Huge cost for mediocre food. My husband enjoyed his quick service burger more than the burger there. Took a large chunk out of our day.Reviewed by DonGlover Review Date: 12/18/2021

We scored a late lunch for Saturday 12/11. This was one of our most anticipated meals of the trip. For an appetizer, we had the calamari which was good, but the calamari at the Via Napoli was far superior. We both had the steak which was superb.
The theming was truly magnificent and the service very good.
I will be going back.
Pros:
Theming and great food.Cons:

We were lucky enough to get a walk-up dining reservation - we arrived around opening time to get on a waiting list for the lounge (the process has since changed). We sat right by the "window", but I think the views would be better from a table in the center of the restaurant so you could see all the views. The sights out the windows were interesting, but repetitive. Our waiter was sub-standard - not knowledgable, and not really engaged in being part of our space experience. He did, however, explain how the view changes from day to night according to real sunset times (including daylight savings time shifts). Our entree arrived as we were taking our fist bites of the appetizer/salad course; we stated that we were surprised by the rapid timing, but the waiter didn't offer to do anything, and we chose to keep our entrees so they wouldn't get cold. The manager was doing his obligatory rounds, speaking to each table; he bluntly asked us how our food was tasted, but walked away as we started to answer. Weird. The food and drinks were well presented and attractive, but the quality was just okay. I am glad we went, but there are better dining experiences in Epcot at this price point. The theming is very good (but not excellent), but the whole experience did not live up to the hype. This restaurant is not operated by Disney, and it really shows in the staff performance.
Pros:
the space elevator experience, the food is attractively space-themedCons:

My friends and I were really excited to eat in space, but our expectations weren't super high. Walking into the elevator to go to space was by far the best part of the whole experience. Seeing the space lettuce was also oddly exciting. The screen showing space was really cool, but the novelty quickly wore off. Food was good. Not amazing, not spectacular, but prepared well and solid. It's really hard to get excited over basic dishes though in Epcot where the food is amazing. If this was in the Magic Kingdom, it may have more of an impact. Overall, glad we ate here, but prob won't again. Def a one and done experience particularly for the price
Pros:
Eating in Space! Giant Space window! Elevator to Space! Space Lettuce! All the Space! Space, Space!Cons:
Food is fine and tasty, but not amazing for the price.Reviewed by Anonymous Review Date: 11/30/2021

Food was cold and got tricked into 2 $8 Fuji water. Thought we were going to be traveling through space. You just sit in one spot.Reviewed by PattyMayonaise821 Review Date: 11/13/2021

We were lucky enough to get a reservation for lunch on the first day of our most recent trip. My husband and I were thrilled to get a great "space-view" seat by the screen.
The most fun part of the experience was "going up" into space before the meal; it adds that "Disney magic" to the experience, and makes it fit in perfectly at Epcot. We didn't really understand the "Space lettuce." Was it supposed to be a joke about Living With The Land? Was it real lettuce that was going to be served to us? I don't mind either way, it just felt random.
For Lift-Off we shared the Big Bang Burrata and Blue Moon Cauliflower, and for an entree I had the Seared Tuna and my husband had the free-range Chicken. Quality wise everything was adequate-- but maybe not totally worth the price.
And that's my overall take away from Space 220, it's a must do at least once, but the price and quality of food will make it a borderline "one and done." It's perfect for a family the doesn't get to Disney World on a yearly basis, but for an Epcot regular there are far better options.

Excellent location, stellar themingCons:

The staff are super nice and thoughtful because I had to get up with my daughter so my wife could eat and they brought out a dome type cover too keep my food warm while I was away from the table. The Food and beverage selections are amazing and the whole experience is out of this world. Big shoutout to the hostess staff for bringing a smile to my little ones face and keeping her entertained but also doing their job that they were supposed to do. I will return again one day

Absolutely fabulous out of this world dinning experience. Waiting room boarding area , then a space elevator ride220 miles above the earth to Centauri Space Station for dinner. Spectacular views but for me they did take away from food experience and conversation and I didn’t have a good seat. Anyway, to the food. I totally enjoyed the burrata, soft and creamy. Would have preferred the grilled artichoke hearts on top of the arugula as I couldn’t appreciate the grill or char on the artichokes and also more of the Romesco sauce. The combination of creaminess, bitterness and sunflower seeds delicious. My wife shared only one of her calamari rings also great starter. My entree was the Florida red snapper, good
portion, great flavor from the San Marzano tomato broth and good contrast with the Sicilian tapenade. Broccolini a little tough, fingerlings crispy on the outside, soft inside both could have used more seasoning. Overall, delicious dish. GE our server encouraged me to have the plant based carrot cake. Great suggestion. Mild, pleasant good balance definitely not over sweet and healthy. GE our server was personable, attentive and menu knowledgeable and stayed “in character.” I tried a trick question: are we on the second floor or third floor? His reply “No, we’re 220 miles up”
Our party of four enjoyed three different starters (burrata, calamari, cauliflower)and entrees (red snapper, salmon, duck) and four different desserts (carrot cake, sticky toffee pudding cake, chocolate cheesecake and lemon mousse). The fixed price 3 course dinner menu is a great value. Choices, quality, presentation and performance.

My seat and our table for 4 did not have a good view of all going on in outer space which was a distractionReviewed by mcassidy1 Review Date: 09/30/2021

Ate here for lunch on 9/25/21. We hustled over to get in line to make a first come/first served reservation only to find out that the front entrance visitors were let in almost 5 minutes before the International Gateway visitors which left us having to take what time we could get. The special effects of the elevator were cool. We were seated on the right side of the restaurant on "2nd level" and while the space visuals (space walkers, shuttles...etc) were unique our vantage point did afford us a view of them for long as they tended to disappear off the top of the screen quickly. Also the reflections of the restaurant on the screens was distracting. For appetizers we ordered the Starry Calamari and the Neptuna Tartare. While the calamari was a tad rubbery the way it was cooked with the cherry peppers along with the roasted pepper citrus aioli was delicious. I didn't have the tuna but the others enjoyed it immensely. For the entree I had the Flat Iron Steak while the rest of our party had the Centauri Burger. The steak was cooked to perfection and was very tasty as were the green beans. The smashed fingerling potatoes were not smashed and were too salty to eat. Everyone else loved their burgers which were cooked nicely to everyone's specifications. The fried potato wedges were fantastic (even tough they too were very salty.) Overall it was a good meal yet a little pricey. The service was great and the greeters and elevator operators immersed us into the experience. If you can get a reservation when they open up you should definitely grab one if you can.
