Cast Member Injured During Disney’s Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular Returns To Work

At the beginning of 2026, Cast Member Robert Herrick stepped in front of the 400-pound boulder from Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular in Hollywood Studios, before it could roll into the audience when there was a malfunction.

Herrick sustained serious injuries and helped protect the audience from the boulder, and according to WFTV 9, Herrick has returned to Disney World!

Herrick has officially returned to work and even got a fun banner that said welcome back and “the boulder didn’t stop you!” We’re so happy to hear is back and continuing to make magic.

He is a longtime performer in the show, and it seems his coworkers were thrilled to have him back.

In Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, the boulder prop has not returned to the show. While the show is up and running, the actual stunt has adjustments in place that remove the boulder. We still highly recommend catching the show in Hollywood Studios and seeing all the performers put together an incredible (one could call “epic”) show.

There are a lot of shows in Hollywood Studios that are worth a stop, including the ever-famous Fantasmic! This show will take you through Mickey’s imagination as he fights dragons and Disney animation comes to life.

You can also watch Beauty and the Beast—Live on Stage, a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. There is fun dancing, music, and it is a classic.
