Disney World Just Quietly Announced a CHANGE to Fantasmic! Showtimes

Fantasmic! has long shaped how folks plan their final hours in the park, and a new showtime change means it’s time to re-check those plans. Disney has updated the schedule starting soon, and it’s worth a closer look!

If Fantasmic! is part of your Disney’s Hollywood Studios must-do list, this is a quick heads-up you’ll want to note — because the nighttime show’s schedule is changing!

Beginning March 8th, performances of Fantasmic! will shift to a new nightly start time of 8:30 PM, and this schedule is expected to remain in place for a while. It wasn’t long ago, actually, since its last time shift, either! If you’re planning your evenings around dining reservations, Lightning Lanes, or park exit strategy, this is one of those small changes that can make a big difference.

Fantasmic! has long been one of Hollywood Studios’ most popular nighttime offerings, combining fireworks, water effects, live performers, and iconic Disney characters into one grand finale. Because of its popularity, showtime adjustments often impact everything from dining packages to how visitors pace their final hours in the park.

With the new start time, you may want to revisit plans for late-afternoon attractions, dinner reservations, or Fantasmic! dining packages to make sure everything still lines up smoothly. Arriving early is still recommended, especially during busy seasons, since seating fills up quickly (even with a single nightly performance).

Here’s a look at the upcoming Fantasmic! showtimes that have been released so far (keep in mind this is subject to change):

February 11th & 12th — 9:30 PM
February 13th-21st — 8 PM & 9:30 PM
February 22nd-27th — 9:30 PM
February 28th — 8 PM & 9:30 PM
March 1st -7th — 9:30 PM
March 8th-15th (which is as far as the calendar goes as of the latest updates to this post) — 8:30 PM

Be sure to double-check the My Disney Experience app closer to your trip for the most up-to-date showtime details, just in case additional adjustments are made. Disney is known to tweak schedules based on crowd levels, seasonality, and park hours.

For now, though, consider this your friendly reminder: Fantasmic! will begin its new nightly showtime soon, so plan those park nights accordingly.
