Have you ever dreamed a fantasmic dream? Have you ever visited Mickey’s Nightmare Fantasmic? If the answer is no, now might be your time!

Over in Hollywood Studios, Fantasmic is one of Disney World‘s most popular nighttime shows. It features live characters, stunts, pyrotechnics, earworm songs, and SO many incredible moments. This is also the reason the show fills up most nights, but starting soon, that might not be a problem!
If you’re headed to Hollywood Studios in January, you need to know about these changes to its nighttime entertainment! Fantasmic, like any other Disney World show, often only runs once a night, but as crowds start picking up, those times can change.

As the sun sets earlier and the park heads into the nightlife, times start getting earlier and earlier, so you need to be sure you’re triple-checking the times. After the new year kicks off, it seems like Disney is expecting some big crowds because Fantasmic will be playing 3 times a night starting on December 28th, 2025.

On select nights, you can watch Fantasmic at 6:30 PM, 8:00 PM, and 9:30 PM. These three performance nights will run until January 3rd, 2026. After these packed days, the show then shifts back to once a night on January 4th, 2026, at 9:30 PM. These shows will fill up, so don’t wait until the last minute to grab your seat!

This show is a Hollywood Studios staple, and we don’t want to overstate it, but you’re seriously missing out if you skip this show! If you aren’t sure about show times, you can check the My Disney Experience App for up-to-date information. This show rotates anywhere from 1 performance to 3 performances a night, so please, double-check!

If you’re serious about good seats, we recommend grabbing dinner and a drink to enjoy in the theater about an hour to 45 minutes before the show. Luckily, this show takes place in an amphitheater, so you can sit while you wait and give your feet a break. If you’re not pressed about viewing, 15-20 minutes before should be okay, but don’t push it too close! We keep writing it because it’s true, this show will fill up and keep you out.

We love that Disney adjusts show times based on crowds because we think everyone deserves a chance to see this live entertainment! (It’s very important after all.) Be sure to keep following AllEars for more Disney news and updates.
