Garden House Reopens in EPCOT’s Japan Pavilion

It’s a Christmas miracle! A popular bar in EPCOT has finally reopened, and we are celebrating with a drink! Construction walls started popping up around the Garden House at the Japan Pavilion in June, and then the drink stand closed in July. The drinks were moved to a temporary location inside Mitsukoshi, but it just wasn’t the same.

However, we have great news! The Garden House has officially reopened as of December 19th, 2025. One of our favorites, the Violet Sake, is once again being served out of the Garden House. Plus, the stand has introduced some new cocktail and beer options!

It has been a few months in the making, but we are so excited to see that the Garden House is once again serving up its tasty drinks! No more walls surrounding the bar. Here’s what the Garden House used to look like with the construction walls up:

One major change is that the order window is now on one side of the building, and then you head around to pick up your order. You used to go inside the building to order and pick up your drinks. Now, you will order at the window and then head around the corner to pick up your drinks. The old entrance to the building now has a wall, and a walkway runs along the pick-up area.

So far, we are liking the new order and pickup process, as it feels less congested, and we like that the order and pickup areas are more separate than before. There are still lots of chains up out front for people to form a line, which is usually needed at Garden House!

Also, the building got a new air conditioner, which was working great when we stopped by to check it out! Currently, the seasonal offering is called Green Grace, but they plan to change it every 4 months or so. They also now have three signature cocktails; before, they had two signature cocktails.
