Disney World’s new nighttime parade, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, has taken the Magic Kingdom by storm. To say this is a popular offering is an understatement.

We’ve been visiting the parade to find the best place to watch, and if you’re looking for a quieter and more relaxing viewing area, we’ve found just the spot for you.
Starlight starts at the beginning of Main Street, U.S.A., by the train station and runs to Frontierland by Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. This gives you plenty of room to find a place for the parade.

Many people will be heading along Main Street or by the castle to capture those picture-perfect spots. While it might feel a bit more magical with Cinderella Castle in the back, it will also be more crowded.

Let us introduce you to Frontierland! Some people won’t want Country Bear Musical Jamboree in the back of their pictures, but when you want to be with fewer people, this is the place to be. The parade also ends in Frontierland, so you’ll have a bit more time before it comes your way. If it starts at 9 PM on Main Street, it will take approximately 20 minutes to reach you.

The tail end of Liberty Square, where it transitions to Frontierland, is also another great option. Currently, since the parade is brand new, it’s very popular, and people are lining up early. People will be lining up all over the route, but we found that spots near Frontierland filled up last.

When you exit, you can go through Adventureland, too, so you aren’t fighting with the castle crowds. Since the parade has already finished on Main Street, people will be heading out, so you can hop in and follow them.

Before the parade began, Disney said it was “larger than life,” and we couldn’t help but agree. The floats are giant, and with their bright lights, they’re easy to spot. The front row will get you the best views, but if you’re an adult who is a bit taller, don’t knock standing in the back. You’ll likely still be able to see everything, all while getting to hop in line at the last minute.

Are you missing anything by being in Frontierland? Nope! The entire parade will be there, and you’ll have great views of the floats. The only con to this spot is that the castle isn’t in the bac,k which might not bother most people.

While the parade is new, we still recommend arriving earlier rather than later. However, if you want to see part of the parade but don’t care about securing the best spot, watching from Frontierland can be a good option.
