Disney Starlight: Dream The Night Away has officially debuted at Magic Kingdom!

We’ve seen the parade make its way from Main Street, U.S.A. to Frontierland, and if you’re planning a trip to see this new parade, you might be wondering just how chaotic leaving the park is after each showtime. Luckily, we’ve got all the answers.
It’s no secret that getting out of Magic Kingdom can be a HASSLE after the fireworks -– so how does Disney Starlight change that?

Well, it’s still going to be a nightmare. BUT it makes those first two spots the most valuable. To get a great view of the parade, a pretty good view of the fireworks, AND beat the mass exodus out of the park and to the buses, ferry, or monorail; stick with these two spots – on the train station platform (if it’s open — sometimes it’s reserved for VIP guests only) and near Town Square Theater.

The closer you are to the exit when the fireworks end, the easier it is to turn tail and get outta there before you’re stuck in a 45-minute bus line with your exhausted kids.

There will be a smaller exit rush after the second parade, but it could still mean some lines at the transportation. The same closer-to-the-exit tips stand, but you can also have the very neat experience of a low-crowd wander out of the park when coming from watching the very end of the parade in Frontierland. After all, the 11 PM parade shouldn’t end until about 30 minutes after the park is closed. Main Street will likely be fairly empty by the time you make it there!

We can’t wait for everyone to experience the magic that is Disney Starlight. We’ll be on the lookout for more updates from Magic Kingdom — in the meantime, make sure you stay tuned to AllEars for the latest Disney news and more!
