After years of waiting, EPCOT’s massive transformation has finally come to an end with the opening of CommuniCore Plaza and CommuniCore Hall on June 10th.

As part of that transformation, an all-new Encanto show debuted at the new festival center and we can’t get enough! But, this show takes place outside with the audience watching from an uncovered area. So, what happens when it rains? We found out.
A brand-new show has debuted at EPCOT’s new CommuniCore Plaza! “¡Celebración Encanto!” features Mirabel and Bruno as everyone sings along to the songs from Encanto! We got to check it out for ourselves and it was a festive and fun time.

This new show will happen daily on the CommuniCore Plaza stage. But, it will be a limited-time show — running from June 10th to September 6th. Shows take place several times during the day, and you can check the My Disney Experience app for times. But, with the show taking place outside and Central Florida being prone to rain at pretty much any time of the year, does the show still go on during inclement weather?
We’re happy to report that, yes, it does!

We stopped by to catch “¡Celebración Encanto!” a few days after the show opened since it was such a jam, but EPCOT was currently experiencing a bit of a downpour. But, it looks like Disney has a contingency plan (of course they do!) because the Encanto show had been moved inside CommuniCore Hall.

Cast Members directed folks on where to go to catch the show which made things easy for people to figure out what was going on. So, if this happens to you on your visit — just keep in mind that you’ll still be able to catch this show even if the weather doesn’t necessarily want to cooperate with ya.
