EPCOT is home to TONS of exciting restaurants that have cuisine from all around the world.
While EPCOT is typically a popular park for the food there, whether there’s a festival going on or not, not every restaurant there is made equally. I’ll admit, I still haven’t eaten at a lot of places in EPCOT because of how picky I am, so we asked our readers directly on Facebook what restaurants they’d never eat at again, and these were the top FOUR answers!
Chefs de France
The least mentioned restaurant on this list (but still mentioned enough to put it on here) is Chefs de France, which is located in (you guessed it) the France Pavilion.
If you’re surprised, the team was, too! However, one commenter on the post shared that they’ve dined here many times, but in past years have stopped because they feel the service and quality has gone downhill.
Another commenter shared, “We are adventurous eaters, but no one in my family, except for my husband, liked their meal. My husband liked his because he ordered steak. We wanted to try something more authentic. It was the worst food I have ever eaten at Disney.” Yikes, that’s pretty harsh! So for my fellow picky eaters, STEER CLEAR!

Space 220
I wasn’t totally surprised to see this on the list, because even if you warn people that the food here will be a little more strange since it’s space themed, that doesn’t mean people will enjoy it!
Our readers shared that they dislike this location because while they feel the experience is entertaining, it’s a one and done. And unfortunately, the food options and quality hasn’t made our readers want to visit again either (and I feel the same can be said for our team — I’m just realizing how long it’s been since we’ve been…I should probably bring that up to someone).
Additionally, we had one reader tell us that the service took so long they wasted half an EPCOT afternoon in the restaurant! Now, we say to dedicate about 2 hours to any table service meal, but it sounds like this one took much longer.

Le Cellier
WHOA! Big shock here, but the more I read the comments from our readers, I can see why this is on the list! Le Cellier is one of the fanicer table service meals in EPCOT, meaning that the price tag is relatively high.
The biggest complaint from one of our readers was that the tables in this restaurant are SO close together, you feel like you’re dining with the table next to you (when that’s not how it’s supposed to feel). And if you’re paying THAT much for a meal here, you probably want your space.
Another reader of ours said that even though they arrived a little early for their reservation, it still took them about an hour to be sat…TWICE. Yes, this experience happened to them on two separate occasions. Is this another Disney World restaurant whose quality is diminishing? We’ll keep an eye on it!

Coral Reef
And to few people’s surprise (I certainly was expecting this), Coral Reef is first on this list. Now, I thought it was going to be because people felt weird EATING fish while they LOOKED at fish (I don’t even EAT seafood and that rubs me the wrong way), but alas, it was worse.
The number one complaint our readers gave about this restaurant is just that the food isn’t good. Many said it was overcooked, or was too salty, and was just overall not a meal they want to experience again.
We’ve actually got a Coral Reef review coming to our blog and YouTube Channel soon, so we’ll tell you what we think in the coming weeks!

Space 220 is a great place as well as Coral Reef but I guess when you’re not into eating healthy and probably aren’t vegan you wouldn’t care where you eat. But if you’re someone that doesn’t do fried food or fast food then there aren’t many decent places to eat. Those that don’t care what they put into their bodies can stick with quick service.
I worked for the company that works with the one that runs space 220. I’m honestly not surprised it took long and was a mess for that one person. They don’t do a good job hiring some folks. Lots of drama going on and many workers are keen on stabbing the other in the back to come out on top. They tend to hire individuals who act pleasant but really don’t want to put effort into their work. So yeah space 220 and the other restaurants at Disney springs that are operated by this company are the type you need to be wary of. It could be great but complaints outweigh the positives at times at these places.
I won’t say I’ll never eat in Nine Dragons again, but they’ll be a snowball fight in Hades before it happens again. The food was meh and the service was awful.
I did not like Le Cellier (Wine celler). Steak was fatty. Not much actual meat. Expensive. Kids didn’t like anything on the menu. Have not been back since 2001.
You forgot Tony’s Town Square. Very bad. Olive Garden is better.
Not in Epcot though.
