VIDEOS: Ride the Reopened Train With Us in Magic Kingdom!

The Walt Disney World Railroad has reopened and we went on it for the FIRST TIME in years!

The Railroad has officially opened to all guests at Magic Kingdom and we’ve shared a full look at the operating hours for this attraction and a peek at what it’s like to go through the TRON tunnel on the train. But now we’re sharing allllllll of the videos of our experience! Ready for a virtual trip on the train? Let’s GO! ALL ABOARD!

Our morning started with an epic announcement from John, who shared that the Railroad would be reopening to all guests TODAY — December 23rd, 2022!

Then it was time to board the train! In case you were curious, YES Breedlove (and the rest of the AllEars team) was VERY excited.

And before you knew it, we were ON the train! Listen closely to the video below and you can hear a bit of the refreshed narration on the train. New sounds and voices now greet you on your ride around Magic Kingdom as Disney has introduced a “new conductor.”

The narrator is, according to the story, someone who “grew up on Main Street, U.S.A., dreaming of the day they’d be on the railroad.” Now, their dream has come true and they’ll serve as the “unofficial mayor” during your trip — showing you all around the Most Magical Place on Earth.

Don’t forget the train also gives you a look at Splash Mountain! That ride will be closing in January of 2023 to be transformed into a Princess and the Frog-themed attraction.

Throughout your trip, you’ll pass by various spots, including Storybook Circus.

And then it’s time to go through the TRON tunnel and get a look at the construction progress on the ride whose very creation caused the Train to close in the first place.

It’s a very unique experience to go under this new tunnel and catch a closer glimpse at the TRON construction on the other side. The tunnel itself isn’t very decorated, but passing near that area does give you a cool look at the upcoming ride.

And it looks like after a long hiatus, the train could be a popular pick with guests. There was quite a line of folks looking to get on the ride as we pulled into one of the stations.
