A Popular Scavenger Hunt Is BACK in EPCOT with a NEW Prize

EPCOT’s International Flower and Garden Festival is officially back, and with a new festival also comes a new scavenger hunt around the park!

There are four festivals that happen in EPCOT throughout the year, and each one has its own special scavenger hunt that guests can take part in, and for this festival, it’s finding Spike the Bee! If you want to get the special prize, it will cost you extra, but you can also just wander around the park and keep track of all the ones you find. I grabbed a map to get the full experience — here’s what you can expect!

Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration is back again this year, and it’s your job to grab a map for $11.99 plus tax from Creations Shop, World Traveler, or Festival Markets to start your adventure.

Throughout the park, specifically World Showcase, Spike is paired with a unique flower or plant, and you’ll be able to find clues as to where each one is on the map. Once you find him, you’ll match the flower/plant to the sticker on your map, place it where you spotted it, and once it’s complete, you can head back to one of those same three locations to get your prize!

The prize this year is your choice of four adorable little flower pots, themed to different festival characters. You’ve got Mickey Mouse in his gardener fit, Spike the Bee, Orange Bird, and Figment!

Yeah, this little guy is going on my bookshelf as soon as I get home. I mean, how STINKING cute!

Want the prize but don’t complete the scavenger hunt? No stress — since you’re paying for the scavenger hunt, you’re basically paying for the prize, so oftentimes Cast Members will even let you pick up your prize at the same time you grab your map, that way you don’t have to go back for it later in the day.

When you’re on the hunt for Spike, you’ll want to look in garden areas. He’s a small plastic model that can be challenging to spot amongst all the colors. If you need help, Cast Members nearby are often willing to share a tip!
