10 Rides Disney Fans REFUSE To Wait More Than 20 Minutes For

Disney World offers a large spectrum of rides, from amusement park classics given a Disney shine to technologically advanced E-Ticket attractions, many of which have become beloved by generations of fans. However, when it comes to deciding which rides are “worth” waiting for, not all of them are created equal.

Recently, we took to our Facebook to ask our readers, “What’s a Disney World ride you’ll never wait more than 20 minutes for?” and received a litany of responses, with readers detailing which queues they won’t jump onto for a wait over the 20-minute mark.

One of the first responses — which came up several more times from other readers — came from reader Keith, who wrote, “One ride I’ll NEVER wait for is Tomorrowland Speedway.” Given the out-of-date nature of the Tomorrowland attraction, we can’t say we blame these readers.

Reader Rick mentioned Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, writing that they “would not wait for a walk on for that ride. It’s a joke considering what we lost for it.” Suffice, Rick is in the subset of Disney fans who are missing the Great Movie Ride.

Reader Rebecca singled out The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, writing, “Aladdin’s magic carpets. I’ll hop in for a five minute wait, maybe a 10, my girls love it. But waiting more 20 for a ride system the same as Dumbo but much less smooth and iconic is a no from me.”

Several readers named Fantasyland staple Peter Pan’s Flight. Reader Serena summed up the thoughts of many, writing, “ I’ve never understood why people wait hours in line for it. Nostalgia, I guess.”

Other rides to receive scattered votes included classics like “it’s a small world”, Carousel of Progress, and the PeopleMover, and modern E-Tickets including TRON Lightcycle/Run, Rise of the Resistance, and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

Finally, several readers expressed sentiments similar to reader Jackie, who wrote, “Literally almost anything. I’m so spoiled by Lightning Lanes.”
