It’s no secret that there’s a LOT going on in Disney World right now.
EPCOT especially has tons of construction happening at the moment, even though projects like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind have been completed. You may have forgotten about this EPCOT addition since it’s been pushed back for so long, but it’s official — the DuckTales World Showcase Adventure is coming to EPCOT!
This scavenger hunt was supposed to replace Agent P’s Scavenger Hunt back in 2019, but the COVID-19 pandemic put a hold on it. We hadn’t heard much about it since, so we thought there was a possibility it could be scrapped, but Disney has just announced the opening date of the hunt will be on December 16th! This information was released to travel agents.
According to the 2019 description and poster, this scavenger hunt will have appearances from the main cast — Uncle Scrooge, Donald, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Launchpad McQuack, Ms. Beakley, and Della. Guests will work with the characters to solve a mystery and rewrite history.
There are treasures hidden in Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, France, Japan, and the United Kingdom. Each country has three missions with one finale — each mission takes 25-30 minutes to finish. You will need to download the Play Disney Parks app to be able to participate!
