Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is a new roller coaster coming to EPCOT!
The ride will be inspired by the Marvel series and feature revolutionary technology like versatile ride vehicles and be completely indoor. We’ve been keeping track of the construction progress as the project moves forward slowly but surely!
The ride vehicles aren’t the only forward-thinking technology that will be used on Cosmic Rewind! The roller coaster will be powered with solar panels installed on the roof of the building.
The panel frames were fitted last year and it looks like many of the blue solar panels have been installed. The entrance itself is really taking shape too!
We love that the coaster will be unique, thrilling, AND environmentally friendly! The ride opening date has been delayed and is now set to open sometime in 2022.
