NEWS: ABC Commissary Will Have a NEW Menu When it Reopens at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is reopening one more Quick Service restaurant…and it’s getting a menu update!

Many restaurants remained closed when Hollywood Studios reopened in July. The restaurants that did reopen experienced limited menus or changes to the environment. ABC Commissary is set to reopen for lunch on October 8th and the menu will also see quite a few changes!

Breakfast and Dinner

First off, Disney introduced a limited-time breakfast menu in March to compensate for the increased crowds heading in early for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. Disney is currently limiting hours of operation for ABC Commissary, and the breakfast and dinner menu will not be making a return at this time.

Lunch

Three items are returning for lunch including the Chicken Club, Mediterranean Salad, and California Burger. While some recognizable dishes are making a comeback, there are a lot more chicken, pork, and seafood options.

As for new items, lunch will also serve up Shrimp Tacos, Curry Rice Bowl with Shrimp, Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese Sandwich, Curry Rice Bowl with Tofu, and Pork Carnitas Tacos. That’s quite the difference between the old menu that hosted items like a shrimp platter, chicken strips, and a cheeseburger.

Kids are also getting a few updated items like Pork Tacos and a Grilled Cheese Sandwich. This is a huge difference from the macaroni and cheese and chicken strips that once graced the menu. They still have the option to order a turkey sandwich and Uncrustables though!

Lastly, ABC Commissary will celebrate the spooky season with one dessert and beverage on the menu. The Box of Bones Chocolate Eclair and Frozen Apple Cider (with or without Crown Royal Apple) will be available upon reopening. Usually, the commissary serves up several different desserts. We’ll have to wait and see if they decided to add more desserts and lunch items in the future!
