You Won't Believe the Crowds in EPCOT Today

The first day of an EPCOT festival can be so much fun because you get to be among the first to see all the fun things the festival brings to the park, as well as check out the special entertainment and eats.

However, today is the first day of the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival, which runs through June 1st, and well, like most festivals, things are also a little daunting. That’s because the first day of a festival brings a lot of crowds. So let’s take a look at how busy EPCOT is today.

There was a good group of people who were here for Early Entry, which is where guests staying at a Disney World hotel get access to the parks a whole 30 minutes early.

For this festival, Cast Members created three lines: one for those heading to attractions, one for Flower and Garden souvenirs in Creations, and one for limited edition pin releases. While it helped for a little bit, it still caused a lot of chaos when people started breaking through the lines.

Crowds are generally held to the left side of Spaceship Earth, since the Creations Shop is on the left, where a bunch of people will be heading (us included).

That’s a lot of people

Even though food booths don’t open until 11 AM, there’s so much to do at the festival, including securing that exclusive merch, checking out the gardens and topiaries, and reading through the passport.
