The France Pavilion in EPCOT is getting some major changes! Starting on November 10th, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will close to remove the 3D aspects from the attraction.
Disney World is in the midst of some major changes! Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios are all working on brand-new lands, and now EPCOT is getting in on the fun.
Starting next month, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is going to look very different. The ride is closing on November 10th, 2025, for the upcoming changes, and we are pumped!
The ride will reopen on November 14th, 2025, with “enhanced digital visuals and clearer imagery projected in 2D.” Not only will they be making the ride 2D, Disney also confirmed Remy will have new props and lighting enhancements!
They also shared that new additions will be added to the ride’s queue and attraction over the next several months, although they didn’t share what they would be. This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a change like this!
Recently, Disney announced the same changes would be coming to the same attraction in Disneyland Paris (where the ride originated). In Paris, the ride will transform into a 2D experience, and they’re adding a new scene in the queue that will feature a Parisian artist’s studio, complete with details and accessories such as canvases, paint splatters, and a fruit basket. The new scene looks very similar to the one already located in Disney World, but it does have us wondering if the queue will be updated to look closer to the Paris version.
We’re eager to see these major changes come to life, especially because many guests have found the 3D experience nauseating. So long, 3D glasses! Your last day to ride the attraction in 3D will be November 9th, 2025. As always, be sure to keep following AllEars for the latest Disney news.
