Disney is finally giving us what we have wanted for years — a land dedicated to the villains.
The new land will be situated beyond Big Thunder Mountain in Magic Kingdom and will feature many of the infamous villains from Disney stories. These characters have become wildly popular, and this new land will likely be a hit with Disney adults. We don’t know much about what’s coming to the new land yet, but we will RIOT if these six concepts don’t come to fruition!
Villains Character Dining
Imagine dining with your favorite Disney villains. Captain Hook, Cruella De Vil, Dr. Facilier, Maleficent, and more could visit you at your table while you enjoy themed foods like Dalmatian pancakes, codfish crab cakes, and voodoo potion stew.
We are totally down for dining with some villains. We really hope this becomes a reality.
Emperor’s New Groove Ride or Experience (Featuring Yzma and Kronk)
It is about time Yzma and Kronk got some love at the Disney parks. These two silly villains provide lots of comic relief and villainous treachery, and we NEED them to have their own experience in Villains Land.
“Pull the lever Kronk,” lends itself perfectly to a ride, perhaps a roller coaster. Or Yzma’s lair filled with all the various potions could be a fun bar theme. The possibilities for these two are endless, and we will actually riot if they are nowhere within Villains Land.
A Dark Ride with the Same Ride Style as Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is a cute trackless ride at Hollywood Studios that takes you into a Mickey and Minnie short. A ride with this same style but a dark, villainous version would be very entertaining.
The ride could be a new short feature with several villains being broody or a ride through of one villain’s backstory or their side of the story. Again, the ideas for this could be limitless.
A Boat Ride Through the Underworld with Hades
If you remember in the movie Hercules, there are scenes of boats floating through the Underworld that Hades rules. We see the three Fates and souls moving through the water. This seems like the PERFECT opportunity for a classic Disney boat ride.
We could be on a mission to save Megara or taking a tour through Hades’s domain. This is a must.
Villains-Themed Bar and Lounge (Similar to Beak and Barrel)
Beak and Barrel just opened in Magic Kingdom, and we LOVE it. The theming is fantastic, and it’s a fun addition to the Pirates of the Caribbean world. Now, we think Villains Land NEEDS its own themed bar and lounge just like this.
It could be a fun place to find Iago, the sidekick of Jafar. Or there could be icons from each of the many Disney Villains. This would be a very cool addition to this land.
Dr. Facilier ANYTHING
Can Dr. Facilier PLEASE be represented in Villains Land?! He was skipped over on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and we feel that this sly villain needs his time to shine.
These villains are ready for their debut, and we hope they get their shining moment. We’re going to need Disney to read this post and give us what the people are asking for (it’s us, we’re “people”).

Personally I think Disneyland and Disney world imagineers should retheme Tianas Bayou Adventure to the princess and the frog ride retheme to go back to 1926 setting to include Dr facilier, Lawrence, spooky shadow spirits, dolls, masks and sing the song friends on the other side at dropoff. And while they’re at it add other characters omitted from the ride including Reggie, Darnell, 2 fingers, Harvey and Henry fenner, 2 policemen, a priest, Buford Tianas boss, Travis, Ray the firefly, pink spoonbill birds dancing to dig a little deeper, lady butterflies dancing to when we’re human in the shrinking section. Also restore the showboat to be in the New Orleans background. Also include Walt Disney laugh o gram cartoon animals. Then I will be more likely to ride it again.
The current Tianas Bayou Adventure ride takes place 2 months before the 1927 Mississippi river flood disaster. And also the official ride is underwhelming and barebones boring ride.
As for the villains ride, yes I agree with you there should be an Emperor’s New Groove mini coaster ride like in the 2000 movie with yzma and kronk. I would like to see Hades river Styx boat ride. A sleeping beauty ride with the dragon villain rollercoaster ride would be very fun but too intense for me like the incredible coaster. Anyways I hope it’ll be a good villains land. Also they should build a Mulan ride in Disney Epcot.
