It can be hard to visit Disney World and not leave with the iconic blue plastic bag from the parks, and now, after our last visit to the Magic Kingdom, we have found something new that we will definitely be splurging on!
If you have ever wanted to personalize your merchandise at Disney World, now is the time because we saw a brand new personalization offering on Main Street.
The Magic Kingdom is now offering Deluxe Embroidery on sweatshirts! We saw this offering at Curtain Call Collectibles, which is on Main Street. It is the gift shop you exit into after meeting Mickey at Town Square Theater. Here, you can get the classic Mickey Ears embroidered as well as other merchandise like tote bags and sweatshirts.
For $9.99 per line, you can now get Deluxe Embroidery on certain items. You can choose up to two lines of text with 16 characters each.
We spotted this example of the Deluxe Embroidery on this sweatshirt.
This offering is only available on certain items, so make sure to double-check with a Cast Member before making a decision. You can also personalize other souvenirs at Disney World!
For an additional fee, you can get your Disney celebration buttons personalized at Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe. This can really upgrade your celebration button and make it stand out. It also makes for a better souvenir to remember your special occasion!
You can even get your ornaments personalized, which is a great way to put your family name and the year you visited on the ornament. We have seen people make it a tradition to get an ornament each Disney World trip and get it personalized.
Did you know that Mickey Ear Hats are not the only items that can be personalized? You can also pick up a pair of plain black Mickey Ears and get them personalized! Cast Members are able to add certain drawings like Mickey balloons and graduation caps to your ears.
All three of these personalization options will cost you about $5 per word or design.Â
If you can’t make it to the Magic Kingdom to get your ornament, ears, or button personalized, you can also go to Disney Springs. Here, you will find Disney’s Days of Christmas, where they offer the same services that the Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe does. It is also a great spot to stop in if you are in need of some holiday cheer year-round!
If you are interested in embroidery or other personalization options, we suggest dropping these items off early in your trip since there is usually a wait time for customization.Â
We know that we will be buying a sweatshirt and adding our own customization now that Deluxe Embroidery is available! As always, stay tuned to AllEars.net for more news and information about new merchandise offerings coming to the parks!
I got personalized Christmas ornaments on my 1st trip in 1999. I got personalized Christmas and 100 anniversary ornaments in October 2023.I also have purchased customized shot glasses and photo frames off of Main Street. Love that extra something to commemorate my trips especially around my birthday.
