This Is Officially the Best SECRET Feature on the Disney World App

Your My Disney Experience app is your best friend in Disney World.

Seriously! You can use it to make dining reservations, mobile order food from quick service locations, skip the line with mobile checkout at select stores, and, of course, see the wait times around the parks and book Lightning Lanes with Genie+. But did you know about this hidden app feature?

If you’ve ever needed to charge your phone in Disney World and you don’t have a portable charger with you (which we recommend you always do), there are TONS of Charging Stations in Magic Kingdom and the other parks and resorts.

The thing is, they’re not very obvious because they often blend in with the land. If you’re struggling to find a place to charge your phone, there’s a feature on the My Disney Experience app that can help you out!

There are some charging areas by the Tangled bathrooms!

You’ll want to head to the search feature and look up “charging stations.” From there, it’ll show you two search result options you can explore. One result, titled “Portable Phone Charging System Kiosks,” shows you ALL the places you can recharge your phone in Disney World. The “Mobile Charging Stations” result highlights the charging stations in Magic Kingdom. Make sure to hit “find on map” to view those locations!
