The EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival is in full swing.
We’ve had such a good time seeing all the beautiful topiaries throughout EPCOT, as well as enjoying all the great food at the outdoor kitchens. We also love the scavenger hunt, Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration, which gets you a prize. However, that prize has actually changed.
Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration is a fun scavenger hunt that you can participate in by purchasing a map from one of EPCOT’s souvenir shops for $9.99.

The idea is to hunt for Spike the Bee throughout EPCOT — when you find him, you put the corresponding sticker (that comes with the map) where you found him.

Once you’ve found Spike in all the locations and put the stickers on the map, you can redeem it for a prize. At the beginning of the festival, the prize was a game of cornhole. You could choose from one of four designs.

Well, the prize has now CHANGED. When you redeem your Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration map now, you will receive an Orange Bird EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival Magnet.

Cast Members didn’t share if this is a temporary change or if the magnet is a permanent replacement. So, is the scavenger hunt worth doing? We would still say “yes.” Not only is it fun for the whole family, but the prize is worth the $10 you spend. The festival runs from February 8th through May 27th, so you’ve still got time to play!
